"Letting Go & Letting God Do"

 A piece of something I kept holding on to

My mind says let go but my heart can’t do.

A year ago I try to throw it all into the wind of forgetfulness

But the heart says “No”, just let it flow.

Spellbinding in the chapter I repeatedly reading daily

Are the memories I always wanted to turn back on.

But You Lord gave and took it away

I may now give unto YOU the rest of the story?.

Letting go is an art I keep trying to run through

Desires unanswered I always pass it all to You.

In the stillness of the night, there I come on bended knee

My heart sings for joy knowing You hear my plea.

"Set My Spirit Free"

The beauty of her face

And the twinkling of her eyes

Shows nothing but a radiant grace

From His love and warm embrace.

She sings with the cricket’s lullaby

Dance as the music running by

Smile when someone’s special passes by

In her heart there’s a silent cry.

“Set my spirit Free”, her inner sigh

Looking back on the years gone by

Was a heart broken and finding no reasons why?

Painful was the betrayal of trusted guy.

“Set my spirit Free” into the widest horizon

Of real love that knows no reason

Love embracing honesty without hesitation

Clinging to the hope found in God alone.

“Set my Spirit Free”, grasping the reality

Love from above gives real victory

Against spending time, cherishing past memory

Trusting in the giver of Life truly “Set my Spirit Free”.
